Juggs magazine. legendary breast trip from the ’90’s, was published by George Mavety in New York. The Editor, and in our opinion a national treasure, was Dian Hanson who ran a tight ship. She had inventive layout ideas and an unfailing editorial image eye.Candy Samples was a consulting editor and letter editor in the ’90’s.
My partner Robert and I went to see and meet Candy Samples in a performance at the Mitchell Bros., O’Farrell Theatre in San Francisco. The O’Farrell was just around the corner from our shop, The Magazine, on Larkin St.
Candy gave a spirited performance and a short talk to the audience at the end.
I remember she told us of her life and some difficulties with being who she was. Playing tennis, I remember she wore two bras for support. She said to us, “Awe I bet you guys are married”The picture that day of Candy sitting on our laps is a wonderful memory. She was the best of the big breast stars. — Trent Dunphy, 2020
Very Good: A magazine that does not look new and has been read but is in excellent condition. No obvious damage to the cover, some normal wear due to age on spine. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins. May be very minimal identifying marks on the inside cover. Very minimal wear and tear.
