Leg Show was a George Mavety publication out of New York. George had the good fortune to hire Dian Hanson as the Editor. Ms Hanson was a whirlwind of content and layout ideas. She knew how to find and use talent. One of her “finds” was the photographer Elmer Batters of San Pedro, CA who was the acknowledged master of leg, toe, ankle and hose photos. Among aficionados it was said you really got to know and appreciate the model when viewing a Batters spread. Now quite rare, Batters also offered videos of these sessions. Dian made an enduring friend- this with a fan and connoisseur, the underground artist Robert Crumb, another of our national treasures. It should be noted that Dian herself is quite a looker and is dynamite in the leg department. Very Good: A magazine that does not look new and has been read but is in excellent condition. No obvious damage to the cover, some normal wear due to age on spine. No missing or damaged pages, no creases or tears, and no underlining/highlighting of text or writing in the margins. May be very minimal identifying marks on the inside cover. Very minimal wear and tear.
